This inviting piazza offered shade and the sound of water from the Fontana delle Tartarughe (The Turtle Fountain). It was especially soothing. It provided rest for both my feet and my spirit. Rome and its fountains are an inseparable pair, and this particular one is located in Piazza Mattei.
