Thankful Reflections and Artistic Gratitude This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is such a uniquely American holiday—after all, the Mayflower only landed here! It’s a tradition I fell in love with from the very beginning. A day dedicated entirely to gathering and reflecting on gratitude? A great meal and no presents involved? I loved it instantly. (Friday, after all, is a whole different story! 😉)

Thanksgiving is more than a holiday—it’s a moment to reflect on gratitude and all the things, big and small, that bring meaning to our lives. It’s also a reminder to pause and appreciate the beauty of connection, community, and support, which are at the heart of both the season and my artistic journey.

This year, I have countless reasons to be thankful. Some may seem small, but they hold a special place in my heart.

I’m endlessly grateful for the moments when someone discovers my art and decides to bring it into their home, making it part of their story. Or when you share how a piece brings back a cherished memory or inspires feelings of joy and nostalgia.

Your support also comes in other ways: sharing my art, website, or holiday collection with friends or family who might connect with it. Every comment, kind word, or thoughtful gesture reminds me why I’m passionate about creating art that resonates.

As a small business owner, I work long hours, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. Your encouragement and connection make it all worthwhile.

This Thanksgiving, let’s celebrate with gratitude in our hearts and appreciation for the unique beauty we share in our homes and communities.
